CHRISTMAS

SO happy to have my man home now :)
I took a week off for the holidays and eating was delicious. I do
not regret one second of taking a week off at this time of year. I enjoyed some delicious foods and treats and gained 2.4 this week. I am back on track. Sarah and I made Motivating posters last night and
they look awesome:) MY GOAL IS 150 BY MAY 11TH:)

Giving back.. Holiday time 2012

Things we have done to give back:

Did secret angel at the ymca : for a little boy
Hosted a playdate to get non perishable foods so we could donate to the foodbank
Maked treats for friends and delivered them
Donated to Salvation army
Donated 3 bags to Veterans
Gift for mail carrier

It feels so good to give back. :)

DECEMBER 2012

Wow what a year!!
I have lost almost 54 lbs and going strong. Now the holidays are here and I am actually thinking about taking a break for a week. Last week I gained 1.6 but for 5 weeks I lost EACH WEEK (!!!) so I am totally fine with that. I feel a lot stronger then I used to be. I can run. I can do bootcamp. I can do a lot of wonderfully hard things I never thought I could do.
The holiday baking has begun. I made 8 diff treats and took them to friends and neighbors.
I have also eaten a bunch too. I did pretty great during Thanksgiving so I think one holiday out of the year, I can splurge. I know I will see that 150 before we move in spring (MAY  -JUNE)..
A lot of my friends say it is tough during this holiday. I have also been on my own for 5 weeks bc of hubbys deployment. I can't wait to see him and enjoy a wonderful Christmas with our girls.
I have had many people email me asking for opinons and also very sweet emails about how I motivated them. I let them know to do all workouts. I do them all. I really aim for 6-8 miles on bikes lately at the gym and I love it. I still do classes and weights.
I cannot wait to see what 2013 will bring me:)

MINI GOAL

A mini goal of 165 is what I want to accomplish in 3 weeks.. I am so close!!! I was 166.8 today! I cannot believe how far I have come. I have had so many sweet compliments lately from strangers(gym) and friends. I will never see 200 again! I am soooo close to this goal and still cannot belive it. I have almost hit my year mark. On 12-12 of 2011 I started this journey. I am very excited about my new fitness and health:)

WICKED 10K

MY FABULOUS GROUP RAN THIS IN ABOUT 1 HR 27 MIN!! (6.2) MILES ..RAN AND WALKED
SO PROUD OF THEM AND LOVE THAT WE STUCK TOGETHER! IT WAS SO AWESOME TO HOLD HANDS AT THE END IN OUR AWESOME LOOFAH COSTUMES :)
IT WAS SO FUN AND ALL THE LAUGHS AND SEEING EVERYONE WAS SO GREAT! I AM SO HAPPY I DID IT.. I AM SOO AMAZINGLY BLESSED WITH SUCH AMAZING AND DELIGHTFUL PALS:)
I THINK I WILL STICK WITH 5KS FROM NOW ON:)
I HAVE DEFINETLY LEARNED THAT I AM NOT A RUNNER LOVER! LOL
I WILL ONLY RUN 1-3 MILES  FROM NOW ON. I AM GLAD I DID THE 6.2.. I FEEL ACCOMPLISHED!! :)
I ALSO LOST .8 THIS WEEK WHICH HAS ME AT 168.4!!!!

My first 5k:)

My friend Sarah and I ran 3.1 today in the rain out at Lonestar in 38.5 MIN!!!! I accomplished something I never thought I could. Everyone knows how much I am not a fan of running but with the 10k coming up, I would really like to get close to running 6 miles for it with some very close friends:) I was doing almost 18 min miles at my highest weight 13 months ago. I am doing almost 12-13 min miles now! Amazed how far I have come!! Thanks for following me! :)
